Scripps Ranch middle schools and high schools will be forming a fencing club at the Sol City Sports Center at Alliant University.  Students will have the opportunity to learn sabre fencing, one of the three disciplines in the martial art of swashbuckling.  Beginning in the last week of November, students will begin tournaments where they will learn to slash, poke and thrust their way to victory.  The good news is there is still plenty of room for beginners who want to take up the sport for the first time.
